Setting Up Organizations in BeWo

Properly structuring your organization within BeWo is crucial for accurate and segmented sustainability reporting. The Organizations section in the Admin Panel allows you to define and manage the organizational framework of your company, accommodating multiple entities under one umbrella. This feature is especially useful for businesses managing multiple brands, subsidiaries, or distinct operational units.

Creating New Organizations​

To begin organizing your company's structure in BeWo:

  1. Navigate to the “Organizations” section within the Admin Panel.
  2. Click on the “+ Create new organization” button to initiate the setup of a new entity.

Specifying Organization Details​

In the creation window, you'll be prompted to provide detailed information about your new organization:

  • Organization Name: Specify the name of the organization you're creating.
  • Country Assignment: Assign the organization to a specific country.
  • Corporate Identification Number: Enter the corporate identification number (such as the CVR number in Denmark).
  • Parent Company Assignment: Optionally, assign a parent company to the organization. This allows for nuanced data management across different levels of your company's hierarchy.

After inputting all necessary details, click “Create” to finalize the addition of your new organization to the platform.

Managing Your Organizational Structure​

Once created, your new organization will be listed in its respective position within the company's structure, whether as a parent company or a subsidiary. This hierarchical view facilitates:

  • Segmented Reporting: Separate emission data reporting for different entities within your company.
