Uniconta Integration Guide
This guide will walk you through the process of setting up Uniconta for integration with BeWo.
To complete this setup, you need to be able to:
- Create new users in Uniconta
- Manage users permissions in Uniconta

1. Set up server user
- Open the Uniconta client, or log in to the web portal.
- Go to Company > User rights > Manage users.
- Click on "Add user", then select "Standard user".
- Select "Create New", click "OK".
- Provide details for the user
Description
- Name – create a Name
- Login ID – create a Login ID. Note it down – you'll need it to set up the integration in the BeWo platform later on.
- User type – select "Server"
- Email – provide an email. A confirmation will be sent to this address after the user is created.
Password
- Choose a password for the server user. You'll need it set up the integration in the BeWo platform later on.
It is always recommended to set up a strong password. A strong password should be at least 16 characters long, include a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Consider using a password manager to generate and store complex passwords securely.
- Click "Save".
- In the pop-up, for "User rights" select "Read access", then click "OK".

Make sure that the server user has "Read access" to the following modules:
- Accounting year
- General Ledger
- Daily Journal Transactions
- Physical voucher
- Inventory
- Vendor
- Purchase
- Company
The rest of the modules can be set to "No access", that is:
- Base data
- Customer
- Sales
- Project
- Project journal
- User-defined tables
- User-defined tables access group 1
- User-defined tables access group 2
- User-defined tables access group 3
- CRM
- Stock journal
- Production
- Tools
- Company documents
- In the pop-up asking if you want to transfer ownership of the company to the new user, select "No".
2. Add the server user to all companies
If you have more than one company in Uniconta, you'll need to add the server user you just created to the other companies as well.
- Switch to another company.
- Go to Company > User rights > Manage users.
- Click on "Add user", then select "Standard user".
- Select "Existing".
- Provide details of the user:
- Login ID – input the Login ID of the server user you created in the previous step.
- User rights – select "Read access"

Click "OK".

Open the user permissions. Make sure that the server user has "Read access" to the following modules:
- Accounting year
- General Ledger
- Daily Journal Transactions
- Physical voucher
- Inventory
- Vendor
- Purchase
- Company
The rest of the modules can be set to "No access", that is:
- Base data
- Customer
- Sales
- Project
- Project journal
- User-defined tables
- User-defined tables access group 1
- User-defined tables access group 2
- User-defined tables access group 3
- CRM
- Stock journal
- Production
- Tools
- Company documents
- Repeat steps 1-7 for all companies that you want to include in the integration with BeWo.
3. Collect Server User Information
After successfully creating the server user, adding it to all the companies and collecting the following information:
- Server user Login ID
- Server user Password
